There is a well known saying that gardens are never finished. This is true, they evolve over time, they grow and mature. We change as people and our requirements from the garden change too. So, we find at times that we want to make changes to our gardens. It may be just one area, it may be the whole garden. This can include structural changes as well as re designing the border areas.
